Woman In Milan

Woman in Milan

The photographs straddle the line between normality and circumstance, they combine women and a real place, but not necessarily women and places marry naturally. The image stops in its detail each scene I process with flash lighting and natural light, the framing is precise for each shot, from behind. The images suggest rather than elucidate a complete narrative.

"Woman in Milan" is inspired from some fragmentations by the cinema of Wim Wenders, Tarantino, Almodovar, Fellini..

My work focuses on the social and subjective experience of being a woman. Photographs arise spontaneously within paths traced by interrogating the experience of the body in different contexts that give rise to the politics of identity and its representation along with the erotic language of the body. My vision eviscerates negation, dissects boundaries evoking individual multiplicity and difference.
