STAMENT

My work focuses on the social and subjective experience of being a woman. The images arise from an observation to the body before delineating any boundary, any belonging. They are created spontaneously within paths drawn by interrogations of the experience of the body in different contexts that give rise to the politics of identity and its representation along with the erotic language of the body. My vision eviscerates negation, dissects boundaries evoking individual multiplicity' and difference.

These images be it photographic or video where the woman has always had an importance and a fundamental role, whether she is a mysterious figure taken from behind or in a party in the carnival of colorful colors and clothing. I don't try to portray her in an analytical or anthropological way, I find it more interesting in my personal research to bring in her history and strength through fragmentation by adding in the less, the enormous mystery behind it. Leaving the image free and letting it travel through the multitudes that make up femininity.
