CAROLINA LOPEZ, born in Colombia in 1980, lived in Bogotá until the age of 17 and then moved to Florence, where she studied painting and photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and worked for several years as Studio Manager and department head at the American school. In Milan, where she still lives and works, she attends a Master's degree in Photography and Visual Design, winning a scholarship at the FORMA - NABA Foundation and works as a photographer, in a constant exploration of women in their urban and social context. Her work constantly refers to cinema and literature. Absorbed by photography, she has wanted to question its boundaries and limits, exploring themes of the everyday, adopting a homogeneous style over time. Her first book "Le Nuits Fauves" was published in 2022 in collaboration with SelfSelf Books crowdfunding.
